**ROMA : The Traveling Goddess on Wheels** Clean Class B Motorhome

So .... Roma has been mine all of 8 months. I have POURED love into her by a full gutting and renovation, plenty of repairs and replacement parts and lots of adventure and love. The time has come to let her go, quicker than I thought, because I will be overseas this year and cannot have her as a single owner anymore. She is RARING and READY! And likely, the cutest, most well decorated and designed Rialta on the web.

I hope that someone who doesn't have the time, nor skills, nor patience to go through the laborious process of renovating a 20 yr old van will see this and jump on her. She's got so much more life in her, it just won't be with me! There are pieces here and there that you could put your energy towards making perfect, but overall - you can head out w/ your windows down and everything you need.

Before I bought this in FL, I paid for an inspector to come out and look at it. I still have that report, and have fixed everything on the report ... and more.

Here are the Deets:
1998 Volkswagen Winnebago Rialta, Double Bed with Storage underneath. Storage in this van is excellent and one of the reasons I chose this model over the others. It really has been everything I needed inside, and outside has a trunk area that is deep and wide. Works well.

I bought her from Florida, where she had only 1 or 2 owners. This is great because there is Zero Rust on the underneath pan. In fact, it looks spotless! I have all of the books, paperwork, receipts and guides from those owners, which is really incredible, plus my receipts. I've only put about 5,000 miles on her myself, with a total of about 91,000. The prior owners were all older and used her locally, hence why its so low.

To get her Road Ready, I:
Replaced Smoke and Carbon Monoxide detectors
Full replacement of all flooring with lightweight vinyl plank
Repainted and Rebuilt all Cabinets inside w/ solid wood - no particle board left!
Added 2 Solar Panels connected to Extra Auxillary battery - Boondocking Friendly! WindyNation 200 Watt Solar Panel + P30L LCD PWM Charge Controller + Solar Cable + MC4 Connectors + Mounting Brackets and connected this to an Extra Deep Cycle Battery all electrically wired for an extra auxillary plug off these batteries.
Custom Build Water Stand and Storage Desk with Table.
3 way Frig Repaired - now works on Battery, PlugIn or Propane.
Cluster Rebuild and Replacement.
Keyless Starter Button Installed on Dash
New Windshield Replacement
New Transmission Pan and Mount, then resealed
New Oil Filter Housing
All Lighting switched to LED bulbs
Installed BOSS Audio 616UAB Car Stereo, Single Din, Bluetooth, USB/MP3/WMA AM/FM Radio in front dash.
4 new All Weather Continental tires
4 new Brake sets
New Muffler
New Generator Exhaust Pipe
Partial Furnace Repair with new motor and Sail Switch
I took the Microwave out and replaced with Convenction Oven, Black + Decker, Model T0300. You can cook a whole chicken when plugged in!
Resealed the entire van on the outside.
Replaced the Side Door w/ lightweight fiberglass on inside.
Repaired all cracked plastic around front dash, repainted.

These are the things that still need work:
Dash A/C Compressor or Pump needs to be looked at (although I just use the one in the back and or windows)
Furnace - Burner needs removal and cleaning and I haven't done this simply because I didn't live in it full time this winter.
1 hubcap is missing. ($25 for full set, if this bothers you!)

Gas about 21 miles / gallon is what is listed. With it fully loaded, I averaged 16-18 mpg. Overall, she has a ton on new parts and has had an enormous amount of love poured into her - saving you about a year's worth of work, so you can just get in and drive! My loss is your treasure! TVworks great, and Antenna too. Slideout Shower makes for a comfortable way to have everything all inclusive, where it is easy to camp or park and live unencumbered.

Some of the great features: Built in Generator, 4 piece Kitchen, 3 piece Bathroom, Pwr Windows, Large Patio Awning (green), full Hanging Closet.

I have a double mattress that I will donate.
Before we schedule a time for you to come see her, I'll want to speak with you on the phone, so please be prepared for that.
